starting a cloud gpu vm powers on the instance and makes it operational while the dcd starts newly created vms automatically, you can use this operation to restart a stopped vm once the vm starts, the resources are allocated, billing resumed, and a public ip address assigned if previously configured to start a cloud gpu vm, follow these steps in the dcd , go to menu > virtual data centers select the data center where the cloud gpu vm is configured select the respective cloud gpu vm in the workspace on the inspector pane, select power > start select apply start in the power state dialog select provision changes in the provision data center dialog, select confirm in the confirm starting and stopping of servers dialog, enter your password , and select ok in the provision data center dialog, select provision now result the dcd displays a provisioning complete notification once the cloud gpu vm powers on the inspector pane shows the status as running if you enabled a public ip address, the system assigns the address and resumes billing
